Because this promotion is targeted towards the Chinese market, you must sign-up through the Chinese website, but there are instructions below to bypass this.

Las Vegas Top 10 Best Buffets of 2015

top-vegas-best-buffets

Heading to Las Vegas and trying to figure out which buffet to go to?  Here’s our Las Vegas top 10 best buffets of 2015!  For the list, we’ve considered everything from price, to quality and variety of food!  Which Las Vegas buffet is your favorite?

1. Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace Las Vegas

After a $17 million renovation in 2012, Caesar’s Palace buffet soon set the standard for all other buffets after it.  The glamorous buffet inspired grand, Roman-style feasting, yet set in a chic interior.  Bacchanal has now celebrated its anniversary with even more dishes than ever, including varieties of seafood (hot & cold crab legs, ceviche, clams, oysters, shrimp, and so on), multiple seasonal cheeses, soups, and more than 100 pastries.  It even has small stations that let you design many of your own dishes!  If you don’t want to spend a bunch of money trying foreign cuisine you may not enjoy, Bacchanal has several dishes inspired by cultures all over the world you can experience without breaking the bank.  This by far, is one of the best buffets in Vegas to date.  Be aware, the lineups are insane for this buffet.  However, they have a kiosk that prints out a ticket with an entrance time so that instead of waiting in line, you can explore Las Vegas.

2. The Buffet at the Wynn Las Vegas

The Buffet at Wynn is a feast in every sense.  This is where you can enjoy variety of flavors from all over the world in one experience.  It has a wide variety of choices, for example, king crab legs, sushi, a carving station, and plenty of desserts.  Even vegetarians go crazy for this place!  Aside from all the food, your dining experience will surely be memorable here.  This seating area is beautiful, particularly in the garden/atrium where it includes fresh flowers, so it makes for a pleasant and aromatic dining experience.

3. The Buffet at the Bellagio Las Vegas

The Buffet at the Bellagio is just plain fabulous!  You will be overwhelmed with both the choices of food and the excellence of its preparation.  The selections are awesome either for vegetarian or meat eaters.  There’s an excellent assortment of sushi, cones, and more for you lovers of Japanese food!  This place is a classic and has maintained an unbelievable level of upkeep.  Oh yeah, if you’re up early enough for breakfast and want a buffet, the Bellagio is a must!

4. The Buffet at Aria Resort & Casino

So much food, so much seafood, different multi culture cuisine.  If you decide to stop here for the buffet, make sure you go with an empty stomach and you will enjoy it for sure.  The price compared to most buffets in Vegas shouldn’t break your budget, with lunch starting at $23.99 and dinner at $39.99.  They also have an unlimited beverage option for bottomless mimosas, bloody mary, sangria, and spritzer wines for an additional $12.99.  If you are feeling adventurous and like to try new things, this may just be the buffet for you.

5. M Resort Studio B Buffet

Whatta buffet!  If this was on the Strip, it would definitely be ranked first or second.  It is about 15 minutes south of McCarron Airport off is I-15, but worth the drive if you want a very good buffet experience.  With over 200 items to choose from, it has just about everything you could think of to eat.  The carving stations feature beef and lamb and offers from Asian, Mediterranean, Italian, vegetarian, and seafood for days!  If you have time, or want to treat yourself to a great meal, the StudioB buffet is well worth it.  One of the “must do’s” when visiting Las Vegas.

top-vegas-best-buffets-desserts

6. Sterling Brunch Buffet at Bally’s Las Vegas

If this was cheaper, this would definitely top the list!  You can’t call yourself a true brunch lover until you’ve been to Sterling Brunch. A little pricier than other buffets around, but definitely worth the money.  At $85 a pop, come get your endless caviar, filet mignon, lobster tails, sashimi, made to order omelets, oysters and more. Oh, and don’t forget the bottomless Perrier-Jouet Sham-Pag-nuh (champagne).  Truly the brunch of a lifetime.  In a city known for stiff competition for Sunday Brunch, there isn’t one that comes close to Sterling Brunch.  Need I say more?  This one’s definitely worth trying, at least once.

7. Le Village Buffet at Paris Las Vegas

Great buffet for half the price of the Wynn and Bellagio buffets!  If you’re looking for a buffet on the strip that offers different experience in both food and presentation, definitely try the buffet at Paris.  The ambiance here sets Le Village apart from other contemporary buffets.  Besides offering the more traditional stuff you’ll see at every buffet, Le Village has French inspired food, (obviously).  For those of you with a sweet tooth, there’s a crepe station, but be forewarned, the crepe line can get pretty long.  If there’s an opening, it might be smart to grab one real quick!  Here’s a quick tip, make a reservation on OpenTable.com and skip the lineup!

8. Wicked Spoon Buffet at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas

Sadly, this buffet has seen better days.  The quality has gone down a little bit, but still deserves a spot on our top 10 list.  This buffet has most of the things we’ve come to expect from a Vegas Buffet.  The options come endless with crab legs, mussels, oysters, chocolate heath bar covered strawberries, and gelato!  If you’re looking at a buffet where you don’t want to over indulge yourself, this may be your type of buffet as most food is served in individual serving dishes so it’s easy to have a nice portion without having the big troughs of food.  The main difference between the Wicked Spoon compared to other buffets.  They may not be the largest buffet in Vegas, but one of the best if you’re more into quality than quantity.  Definitely worth a visit!

9. Carnival World Buffet at Rio Las Vegas

One of the largest buffets in the world with the most variety you’ve ever seen, this buffet continues to be outstanding.  If you’re doing the 24 hour buffet pass or not, you should just have to go here!  Huge selection.  Many varieties.  They offer a large variety of food, including brisket, BBQ chicken, ribs, pho and a carving station that includes turkey, glazed ham, pot roast and so on.  If you decide to stop in, don’t forget to end with some gelato and cheesecake bites!

10. Cravings Buffet at Mirage Las Vegas

Very fun buffet!  If you use MyVegas, you may be able to snag a great deal on this as well for a 2 for 1 deal so it’s half the price.  The buffet also offers unlimited drinks, which is a plus.  Their amazing drink station with many, many selections comes with so many selections it would even suit the pickiest person.  Overall, this buffet may not be the fanciest, but it has a few stellar options!

Honorable Mentions: The Buffet of Buffets at Caesars Entertainment Las Vegas Resorts & Casinos

If you are looking for a great deal and have the time, the Buffet of Buffets is for you. This is a great option, if you feel like pigging out on buffets. It includes multiple buffets located in multiple hotels including Rio, Paris, Planet Hollywood, and other Caesar Entertainment hotels (be sure to use your Total Rewards to get a discount!). The trick is to squeeze in as many meals as possible within 24 hours. Though, the downside is that you may need to accommodate your activities around this, it is seriously the best deal in town for buffets.

Get 2 free passes to the Buffet of Buffets with a 2 night hotel stay!

Hungry after reading this, I know I am!  What are are you waiting for?  Head out to Las Vegas and check out one of the our Las Vegas Top 10 Best Buffets of 2015!

Insider Tips
Waiting in Line: Buffet lines can get long so going early or late then the popular times is a way to reduce your wait. Las Vegas tends to be a late-night crowd so going early for brunch can often make a big difference. You can also try to get a line-pass to get in front as a comp if you gamble enough, or are a valued hotel guest. Finally, tipping the hostess has been known to get people in early 🙂

Saving Money: If you go towards the end of the lunch schedule, you can sometimes stay for dinner too and will just pay lunch prices for the more expensive dinner buffets (depends on hotel policy). Going midweek will get you the lowest buffet prices. In addition, you can find great deals (50 percent off or more) if you go to a breakfast buffet instead of dinner or lunch – of course, the selection will be more limited.

Free Buffets, Hotels & More for Las Vegas with Caesars Social Rewards

Caesars Entertainment Social RewardsOnly minutes a day to earn hundreds a year!  Well, the title lies a little.  You don’t actually earn cash, but you earn credits that you can use at Caesars Entertainment properties in Las Vegas and other places in the world.  This includes Caesars Palace, Paris, Planet Hollywood, the LINQ, and all the other Caesars properties you love and visit every trip!   You can use the credits for dining such as buffet, hotel rooms, the spa and more!   You basically treat it as cash, and the best part is, because you’re using comps, you save on the tax as well!

Caesars Entertainment Social Rewards only takes 10 minutes to set up, and less than 10 minutes a week and you can earn unlimited FREE comps with Caesars Entertainment, not only in Las Vegas but anywhere else they have hotels such as Windsor and other cities.  Starting from February 2013, I already have over $800 worth of credits that can be used at any of their properties.

Much like the myVEGAS Slots game, Caesars Social Rewards is based on social networking.  You’ll need Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and/or Google accounts to participate.  You only need 1 of the above, but the more you have, the faster you earn!

To save time, I do this while I’m auto-spinning on myVEGAS to earn twice the comps!

Here’s the Step by Step Guide:

1) If you have a Total Rewards Card, proceed to step 2. If not, sign up now here http://www.totalrewards.com (Join Now on top right corner)

2) Sign up for Social Rewards (Register on top right corner)

3) Login to Social Rewards and connect your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Google accounts.  You don’t need them all,  but having more means you earn faster.

4) Now you can start earning points, which translate into rewards.  Navigate to each of the properties by clicking on the hotel icon starting from Bally’s.  Don’t forget, there’s one more when you click the arrow.

a) You get 3 shares per day, just go around clicking shares/likes/etc and starting answering questions and you’ll be accumulating points.

b) Everything counts as 1 share, with the exception of videos in the Tube Rewards section, as well as Google Likes, as well as the Connect Rewards so do these sections first!

c) When you are done one property, navigate to the next one and repeat until you are done.  Repeat the next calendar day!

5) When you have at least 1000 points (Total of all properties), you are able to redeem.  Just click on “Redeem”, and follow instructions.  I recommend redeeming Total Reward Credits, as you can use them in multiple places/properties.  Reward Credits are treated as cash so you may combine coupons with them as well.

TIPS

a) Watch the videos while you’re doing something else to save time or it ends up being quite tedious.

b) Although you are only allowed 1 account per person, if you have a partner/spouse/family member, you can do it for them at the same time too!  Just open up another browser!  Earn the comps twice as fast!

c) My favorite places to use the credits are for the Buffet of Buffets, Hash House a Go Go(combined with coupon) and Earl’s of Sandwich!

d) For a full list of places where you can use these credits, click here!

If you need help setting up Twitter, or have any questions or problems, we have a support group on Facebook here: Caesars Entertainment Social Rewards Guide

FREE Flight to Las Vegas: Canadian Travel Hacking

aeroplan

This offer is valid for Canadians only.  I’m looking into something similar for people in the USA as well.

Ever wanted to bring your kids to Disneyland, see the light and spectacles of Las Vegas, or visit family somewhere cross country?  Wouldn’t it be great if this could be done either free?  With travel hacking this is entirely possible.

Travel hacking is a method to use gather points from loyalty programs, or other areas, and travel for free or at a highly discounted price.  Normally, since these points are so rewarding, they take years and years to accumulate, and because of this, people think its worthless and time consuming, and so never try, but what if there’s an easier way?  Here’s the way to get a free flight anywhere in North America, including Las Vegas of course, with Air Canada’s Aeroplan loyalty program.

Right now, American Express is having a friends and family promotion where you are able to get 30,000 Aeroplan points for free, keeping in mind that you only need 25,000 for a free round-trip flight anywhere in North America.  You might think that it’s just another credit card deal, and normally, I would agree with you, but with this deal, in just the last 2 months alone, I’ve been able to earn over 300,000 points.  I just booked a trip for 2 to Asia in Business Class the entire way, stopping at Manila, Singapore and Thailand, and it was basically free!

  • With 30,000 free Aeroplan points, you can get a round-trip flight anywhere in North America for free!  Or save up more points and travel to other destinations for free!  See where else you can fly with this flight rewards chart.
    rewards-chart
  • The first year is absolutely free, so if you decide the card is not for you, just cancel it and you get to keep the 30,000 free Aeroplan points!
  • Amex is a charge card, not a credit card, which means that it doesn’t hit your credit score as hard a credit card would.  The difference between the 2 is that you must pay off your balance every month, or else you’ll be charged a higher interest rate.  If you always pay off your card, then it doesn’t even matter!  Also, finally a card that you can use at Costco!
  • The very best part of this deal, and the reason I’ve earned over 300,000 points in the last 2 months is that Amex has a referral program.  If you refer someone to sign up for this card under you, you get 10,000 bonus points!  There is no limit on what you can earn!

If you consider all the points, this is a deal you can’t ignore!  Worst case, you take the 30,000 free points, and cancel the card before the fee is up, and best case, you refer plenty of friends and family and manage to rack up your very own round-the-world-trip!  The original plan was just to sign up, get the 30,000 points, and then refer my wife for another 40,000 points, but a great deal sells itself and it’s been astonishingly easy to get referrals.

Click here to get your Free Flight and start your Travel Hacking now!

If you have any questions about this or Aeroplan, feel free to ask here and I will reply as soon as I can.

Why All Trips Become “Groupon Trips”!

Groupon Vouchers Ray Lauren

Lauren from Groupon, Raymond from JustVegasDeals

I like to travel a lot, and Las Vegas is one of my favourite destinations.  As a deal hunter, I like get the best value for my money.  I book my flights when there are seat sales, book and re-book my hotels if there’s a better promotion, and check out Groupon every day to see what kind of deals are available.  I’ve coined this as my “Groupon Trips”, where I try to fill all my meals and activities with Groupon vouchers, and Las Vegas is probably the city with the most options available!

During my most recent 6-day Vegas trip in January 2014, attending a conference for bloggers and internet marketers (Affiliate Summit), I had the privilege of meeting up with representatives from Groupon, and our conversation eventually lead to whether I used Groupons or not.  This is when I reached into my bag and brought out a stack of Groupons I purchased, printed, and planned on using for the trip!  Here’s the breakdown of what me and a friend used during my last trip and how much we saved!

Restaurant and Buffet Deals:

Total Spent: $210.99 ($411.98 value)
Total Savings: $200.99

Activity and Entertainment Deals:

Total Spent: $307 ($777 value)
Total Savings: $470

So by planning all my meals and activities ahead, I managed to save $670.99!  The best part of all of this is that most of the restaurants and activities are highly rated, we would’ve eaten at most of these places, and done most of these activities at full price anyways!  So for your next trip, whether in Las Vegas or anywhere else, try to plan ahead, see what Groupon deals are available, and hopefully you can save as much as I did on your very own “Groupon Trip”!

Las Vegas Top 10 Best Pools

Las Vegas Top 10 Best Pools

las-vegas-beaches_mandalay_bay

Las Vegas is famous for its Strip, its hotels and their magnificent pools.  Some are fun and exciting, and others are pure, laid-back relaxation, so go get ready for pool season and check out our top 10 pools in Las Vegas.  Just be aware that to enter the pool complexes of the hotels, you probably need to be a guest or will have to pay a fee, but anyone should be able to enter the ones listed below.

1. Mandalay Beach
http://www.mandalaybay.com/beach/

Mandalay Bay Beach is the most action-packed pool on far south strip.  The beach features a relaxing lazy river experience with or without inner tubes, a great recreational wave pool where you can body surf on the waves into the shore, and real California sand!  In addition to those amazing features, the 11-acre beach contains four additional quieter pools to swim in and two jacuzzi’s to relax in.  Try your hand in the beachside casino, have a meal at the Beach Bar & Grill, grab a drink at the Bikini Bar or from any of the red bikini-clad servers walking around, or relax in Moorea Beach, Mandalay Bay’s European-style pool experience.  If you want the option for an even greater resortist experience, you can rent one of their many cabanas, daybeds, bungalows, or personalized villas.  You will never be at a loss of things to do at the Mandalay Bay Beach.

As a child, my parents brought me to Las Vegas several times for family vacations.   You might hear things like Las Vegas isn’t for children, or there’s nothing for kids to do in Las Vegas so leave them at home.  I can tell you that some of my best childhood memories are from our Vegas trips.  Whether just exploring and checking out sites like the Mirage Volcano, or winning plush dolls at Circus Circus, there is definitely many things for kids to do, and if you plan your trip well, they’ll have just as much fun as you.  Here are our top 10 kids activities in Las Vegas.

1. Adventuredome

An entire 5-acre indoor theme park devoted to the underage crowd exists on the Las Vegas strip in the Circus Circus Hotel & Casino.  No matter what the weather you can spend a fun-filled family day riding the corkscrew Canyon Blaster, swinging in the large Sand Pirates ship, spinning on the Disk’O, watching one of multiple 4-D movies, playing laser tag, and more.  With rides ranging from toddler joy to premium thrill, there is something for everyone.   Each ride can be purchased individually or you can buy an all-day pass for unlimited access to everything, $27.95 for adults, $16.95 for children 33-47” tall, and free for those under 33” with a paying adult.

2. Excalibur Midway/Circus Circus Midway/Coney Island Emporium

The most popular arcade and carnival-type attractions are displayed together because they are all similar barrels of fun for the little ones.  Try your hand at popping balloons, competing with your child in a race, trying to get the ping pong ball in the glass, and more to build up your stock of stuffed animals and toys- kid favorites!  Adults and children alike can also play arcade games to earn tickets toward prize redemption.  Each game is priced individually, but some are so easy to win there’s no way you’re walking away empty handed!

3. Las Vegas Strip Attractions

There are many things for kids to do on the Las Vegas Strip.  From the massive hotels they can explore, to the free attractions they can see, there’s something for kid’s of all ages to keep them occupied.  A few of the better ones for kids would include the Bellagio Fountains, the Volcano at the Mirage, the Sirens of TI, and of course the Wildlife Habitat at the Flamingo.  Best part of all, all these activities are absolutely free!

4. Afternoon comedy shows- Mac King Comedy Show/Popovich Comedy Pet Theater

What better place to take your children than afternoon shows designed for family friendliness?  Mac King contains a mix of comedy and magic and is a top-rated magician by many sources.  He will awe your family as he swallows goldfish and performs the most amazing magic tricks with no evidence of foul play.  What child doesn’t love animals?  The Popovich Comedy Pet Theater at the Miracle Mile Shops is full of rescued dogs and cats that are trained to do tricks.  Not only does your family get to witness the cutest show in Las Vegas, they are also contributing to the well-being of abandoned animals.

5. Tournament of Kings

Enjoy dinner and a show in one swoop while cheering for your assigned knight.  Dinner includes tomato soup, a whole chicken, broccoli, potatoes, and a pastry all without the use of silverware!  Why?  Because there was no silverware in medieval times- but apparently unlimited Pepsi was the drink of choice.  Your family will sit in one of the designated countries and while enjoying your meal you will watch the games unfold in the arena before you.  With live horses, medieval details, and the must-have villain, this action packed show keeps your children mesmerized.

6. Secret Garden & Dolphin Habitat

10. Las Vegas Thrill Rides at the Stratosphere

For the older children in your pack who are into thrills and action, check out the top of the Stratosphere tower.  You not only get a gorgeous, complete view of the Las Vegas strip, but you can partake in death-defying rides that fling, spin, and drop you over the edge of the tallest tower in the west.  There are various packages available depending on how much thrill you can take that vary from $22 for one ride to $34 for an all-day pass.  This would be much higher on the list if it weren’t for the age limitation.

Bonus. Wet ‘n’ Wild

While the resort pool areas of the hotels in Las Vegas are much better than your average hotel pool, if you are looking for even more water-filled thrills than what your hotel has to offer, Wet ‘n’ Wild is a great place to take your family for the day.  It is a brand new water park with 25 rides and attractions located just 10 miles west of the strip.  With warmer than average temperatures year-round and very little rain, this is a great spot for most vacations.  This would be near the top of the list but due the location, it’s not readily accessible by many families on vacation.
